I sniped a GS "Select" 15 on eBay. He says it beeps when powering up...wish me luck (yes, I am a cheap bastid'...lol):

Welp....I took a chance on the plotter on eBay and guess what? It didn't work properly :ROFLMAO:

Sent both main boards to "Plotter Doctor", and he "only" wants $950 to repair them.

EACH

So needless to say, they're shipping them back to me. Unless I can find someone else to repair them "reasonably", I will have two boat anchors, I guess.

Gerber told me the boards list for $661 each. Now if only they HAD them...

Ok, just got off the phone with these guys:

Looks like they would be $825 each to repair, with a 6-10 turn around time and 2yr warranty.

Does ANYONE else know of another company that will repair my old boards?
