Hi can someone help I am printing in billboard mode and getting lines in all colours as the first and second picture shows.

I also tried all calibration, adjust bi-dir and Test print, Calibration has lines all over but looks to be correct in the box distance and test print has a line half way see pictures below.

I have tried a normal clean, medium clean and different files.

Please helppppp :banghead:

Your Calibration is off.....when boxes overlap you get you dark banding. When the boxes are apart, you get white banding.

Sorry I can't see how calibration is off as the left box has a little white between the boxes and the right box has a dark overlapping band.

Billboard mode is kind of a pain to get the feed speed corrected, but once you get it, you'll have to keep an eye on it.

Here is my easy (hard) way to do it.

take a full width by at least 12 inches deep print and use it as your test.

Take a look at your machine, and the software settings for feed speed, and write them down.
Print the image.
If dark banding, then increase feed, if white banding, decrease feed.
Make 1 incremental adjustment to the machine. Write it down
print the image.
If needed, then make 1 incremental adjustment in software. write it down.
Print the image.

Repeat as needed until you fix the banding.

I write down the adjustments so I can keep track of what I have done.

Hope you get the idea on how to adjust.
