Don't know why the 8 year thing is relevant, but Thank You for the reply.
I didn't mean offence, just surprised you've been here 8 years and this is your first post - That's some great lurking skills. (Which there is nothing wrong with).
You should provide us with more information though. What will you be cutting? How accurate does it need to be? If you're cutting window tint for a car, it's a lot different than if you're cutting Diamond grade reflective for street signs.
Do you want some cheapo machine that will do OK, or do you want one that will cost 3-4x as much, but last you 10-20 years?
Graphtec, Summa, Roland are all high range ones. You'll be dropping $2-3000 on a 24".
Uscutter sells 28" cutters + a Heat press + 50 FT of vinyl/T-shirt vinyl for $400 - It's good for hobby stuff / if you wont be using the machine more than a couple times a week, and not cutting stuff thats 10 FT long.
Theres a huge range in price and products... it all depends on what you want to do, and what your budget is. Personally I'd spend a couple grand and buy a brand new graphtec.
Again..depends on what your doing. IF you're not cutting DG / thick material, a CE edition will work.

If you're going to be cutting thicker material than vinyl, the FC is best.
