Post can make the sign

Working on finishin up this sign. It is a basic simple sign where I think the post make a world of differance. The old sign had 4x4 post, now it has 10x10 post.

I agree. I rarely use a bare post on a sign. At minimum, I'll make a cap or add a finial.

I wish I had pics of the install we did in the dark of a noreaster blizzard a few few years ago, sign was similar to that one and we need a jackhammer to break up the frozen ground.

Bill, I know the feeling. The ground is already starting to freeze and I have two more signs besides this to go into the ground. Can't wait till Monday up here in NH.
