Postermax sticking to itself?

Anyone ever have an issue with poster paper (8.5mil postermax) sticking to itself so much so that it wont feed into their printer? That's the issue I am having, it's not the rollers on the printer or anything to do with the printer as I am having a hard time feeding it by hand... my print room has a dehumidifier and is set to 40%, I have had this roll maybe 6 months, using it every now and then. There is about 30' left of the original 200'. It has always been "sticky" (you know you can hear it coming off the roll kind of like banner) but hasn't been an issue until today. The roll has always been stood up on end when not in use.... I will be in contact with my supplier but I would like to know if something I did caused this or if that's just how it goes with poster paper?

I've had nothing but problems with postermax, both with the sticking issue you described and with the ink not drying on the paper causing it to come off on the back on th take up roller. one of our suppliers has a nice thick paper as their house brand that prints beautifully, so we switched to that.

I started a thread on this also, Signtime is my business partner.

We had great results printing on this material until this sticking issue. We tried printing posters on oce hpstrsol, but that material didn't take ink at all. We are printing on a roland xj540.

Anyway we need to print a run of posters and I'm trying to decide whether to buy another roll of postermax or if there is a better product we sholuld try. I'm pretty sure fellers will help out with this sticky roll.
