PPG Breakthrough Paint

Anyone using it for sign applications.

I am attracted to its quick-drying properties for expediting the painting process for sign panels, but worried this falls into the "no free lunch" category.

Main question : Does vinyl stick to it?

I just installed a Matthews Mixing Station and I believe they are owned by PPG. I had three pieces of 1/8" plate steel 6"x28" to paint. I cleaned it, primed it, one hour later I put on the first coat of white, fifteen minutes later a second coat, and fifteen minutes later put down a final UV clear coat. The painting took a total of an hour including gun cleaning.

I'm saving a ton of time now on my paint work and the stuff is amazing. One of the best moves I've made in years.

...but I am living vicariously through you and your paint booth and mixing station.

Those numbers are great - and I am sure the results are equally astonishing by comparison.

LOL...The paint booth has been money well spent. Damn I love having the right tools for the job!

Edited to add.... Already planning to buy a 4' X 8' CNC laser table... Oooh baby! fun can be had with one of these :)
