Pre-leasing sign 7 ft wide, wooden frame

Hello.
One of our potential clients wants us to make a "pre-leasing" sign for him.
The sign should stand by itself, 7ft x 4ft. No concrete.
I think metal poles would not hold the 4x7 sign panel for too long.
Is there a good way to make a frame of 2x4's for a sign to stand by itself?

This is how we make them. We use 4" x 4" Treated wood. They are quite stable. But some still choose to use sand bags as well.

If it is sitting flush with the ground you could dig in 2x4 or 4x4 and screw directly onto them. We do this at a corn maze for signs that I make there out of 1/2" MDO. I dont think it would work if they were elevated at all. We do this with an 8' x 6' that the public uses for photo ops with no issues.

You can also use all thread through the feet and into the ground to help stabilize the frame. A sledge will drive it in no digging required.

Here is how ours go together. We make quite a few this way nowadays.

..... like the last 20 years or so.

And yes, we drive some rebar down the four corner runners.
