Pre-painted MDO

I'm making a 4' x 8' sign for a real estate development using a sheet of Olympic Panel 1/2" pre-painted MDO. I will be applying an Orajet 3651 laminated print and applying a One Shot clear acrylic sealer over the entire print and edges of the panel. I did notice the edges of the panel have a few small voids that I would normally fill and seal before priming and painting on unpainted MDO. I want this sign to last at least 2 years outdoors, but 3 to 4 years would always be good, just in case they don't sell all the lots as fast as they would like. Should I seal the edges and fill the voids, or will this MDO hold up just find as it comes from the distributor, which is Grimco in this case? I would suspect it would last 4 years easily, but it doesn't hurt to get other's opinions. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks.

It should last enough for a realtor. If this was a permanent sign, I'd fill the voids, seam the edges, sand them and then prime and paint them again with two top coats.

An easier approach would just be to put the 1/2" edge cap on it after the print and clear are on it..... and use a little schmutz to keep it on.

I hadn't even thought about edge cap. Too bad I didn't quote it with the edge cap. Darn it. My thinking was that it would last long enough for a realtor also, but I figured I'd mention it here and see what others thought just in case...you know...after the fact. Hahaha! The realtor did specifically say this would only need to last a couple years, but I just want to make sure moisture that gets in and can't get back out easily won't ruin it in less time than that. I think I'll throw some plastic putty in the voids to be safe and just let the acrylic clear act as a second coat of paint.

I've always used Plastic Wood putty in the past with great long term results, but I may have to try this.
