Pressure Lines showing through prints

I am using a Roland XC-540 & Versaworks. I am printing on White Static Cling, and Where the friction rollers tough the material, when ink gets laid down, you can see the imprint show through. The result is not acceptable. Other then moving the rollers out of the way, does anyone have a fix or workaround for this?

only us the outside rollers on static cling, that's what I do without any problems.
