Preview pane not showing .fs file previews

One of the computers in our shop has Flexi 10 installed and I just noticed that the preview pane in windows explorer doesn't preview the .fs files. We have another older computer with an older version of flexi installed and the files preview fine there. Does anyone know what the issue might be? Am I missing a driver or something?

Check your Windows 'Folder Options', just type folder options in the start menu dialog box. Depends on your version of windows but look under the 'View' tab in Windows 7 & Vista, not sure about 8. There are a ton of tickable settings in there, some related to file previews. Hope this helps.

Actually upon further review Windows Explorer wont preview my .fs files either. It WILL preview in Flexis open file dialog however.

Yeah I can see it in the open dialogue as well. If I find an answer online I'll post it here for you.

I don't think windows will show you a thumbnail of the file. It's a .fs file and only flexi can read it. I believe the only way to see is to save as something other then .fs or to just use the Open dialog box to preview the files.

Not sure if that's true because like I said, we have an older version of flexi on a computer running windowsxp and windows shows the .fs previews. So why would the new version lose that feature?\

Where is StephStamm when you need her. That I don't know. Maybe it was some sort of driver that the old flexi had for windows and was too much trouble to keep up to date with newer software so they scrapped it.
