hey :signs101:,
has anyone on here ever done a billboard? if so how to you go about pricing one out? the billboard is 17' x 25'. i never done one of these but its a easy install cause the billboard is on the ground so i wouldnt need and lift or to get on a ladder to get up high. so if some one can help me out with a average price for something this size it will be great. thanks in advance. Daniel

Are you applying die-cut vinyl, flex-face or digital prints ??

Also, are you about 20' tall that you don't need a ladder to get to the top of a 17' sign ??

You gonna print yourself, or outsource? If outsourcing the print, figure your markup, add installation, and there ya go. If in house, cogs, shop costs, labor, markup, and installation.

your not going to find an average price, price varies greatly from area to area, as well as the material your using, your best option is to join the premium section. or find a subcontractor that will work with you untill you get the hang of it(pricing).

You may be surprised at the weight of the finished product, as well as the gymnastics you will need to perform to securely install this face on the superstructure.

LOL - this question is funny.

"It's gonna be an easy install because it's on the ground" HAHAHAHAHAHAHA

You ever done this before? What type of mount? Strap? Ratchet? Do you even know what I'm talking about?

I use a guy that does these up and down the interstate. I order the prints with a pole pocket figured in, he uses conduit and ratchets, he buys them by the case. He did a 12' x 40' job for me in about 90 minutes by himself (he was able to work off extension and step ladders). That thing was tight as a drum when he finished.

I get a price from him and add a few dollars to it, easy money.

I hope the billboard is standing up, if it's laying on the ground I don't know how you would do it.

I never did this Billboard before myself but I have hired Dash Two to do for my product promotions and branding. If you need any help you must contact with outdoor advertising specialist.
