Print/Cut Problems

Hi, I am trying to contour cut a print, and im having trouble getting the plotter to pick up the reg. marks. The problem donesnt have to do with lighting, the laser eye just never gets close enough to the marks to read it. Has anyone ever had this problem? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Also I noticed there is a setting for manual mark reg., and I was wondering if anyone has tried doing it manually? and what steps are involved in doing it that way...

YOu have to manually move your knife to the area within the first registration mark to
start with. Than, if your print is close to square with the plotter, it should work.
