Considering a print head cleaner for our Seiko Colorpainter H 74-s... Do print head cleaners really work?

It depends on what is wrong with the printhead. If it is simply clogged with deflections, then yes cleaning can be very successful. If the plate is damaged, then no, not so much.

POn a side note, how do you like your seiko h74??

Great speed! Great Quality! Print Heads are VERY sensitive. Take up could be better. Some parts should be stronger....for example the Flanges. We have replaced quite a few of them.

Those flanges are notoriously junky. If you are just one or two tabs dow, you can prolong the life of them by just wrapping tape around the flange in order to get a nice snug fit on the role.
