Printed Corro Sign Question

I am looking at ordering a bunch of election signs for a customer.
If they are 2 sided printing, do the sides bleed through at all? Is it a problem on 4mm?

Anything I should watch out for?

These will probably have the candidate's photo.

Do solid backgrounds present a problem?

There is an opaque white coroplast but it cost a little more.
I usually just tell my customer the options and that the opposite side does show through a bit and leave it up to them what they want to do.
To be honest I have never had a customer really care about it or complain.
Just communicate with your customer so they know what to expect.

We don't charge for full bleed (edge to edge) and our standard coro is 4mm white. Given the right conditions (sun beaming against sign back) you can see some show through on some jobs depending on coverage, especially if there is a lot of white negative space. If you are truly concerned, just let your trade printer know you would like your job run on opaque. We offer this option, it's basically $6 more per 4 x 8 sheet or $.60/sign. On long runs it's even less.

We just lost a job today because of this. We only print on opaque, seems foolish to print a bunch of signs you can't read when the sun shines on them, but that is just my opinion. Customer went with a cheaper sign shop that prints on non-opaque.
