Printed vinyl material question

I was handed a job to do 80 trucks with printed material.
It is a 3 color logo with gradients so the logos have to be printed.

I got 3 sets of decals from them to install, everything else I will need to outsource to be printed (I do not own the printer yet, just the cutter).

The ones they gave me were printed on 3M Series IJ40C (Air release).
Is that an overkill, the logos will be applied on the doors of the truck cabin and on the wind reflector on the top of the cabin. The reflector is curved, but I think that the regular cast vinyl would be OK, no need for air release.

Right now i use Oracal only for my regular vinyl work, I have seen all the complaints about 3M, so if there is something from Oracal that i could use, I would prefer that.

What would be your recommendation?

Thanks in advance :thankyou:

Thanks.

My main question was about air release?
Is it necessary? Or I should be good to go without it?

Air release is just a matter of preference. If you like installing it with RA use it and vice versa. I personally like using RA and for the minimal cost difference it is worth it to me to stock RA material. I use Oracal too
