Printer - Cutter for heat transfer: dryer needed?

Hi, someone told me today that for creating printed heat transfers i needed a printer - cutter with a integrated dryer, as this would dry the inks better and adhere better to the media. This would improve the overall results on apparel (durability). However, the BN-20 is promoted for heat transfer and does not have an integrated dryer. Can anyone shine a light on this?

I wouldn't worry about it. I used to do transfers with a bn20. Just let them sit a while before applying. One thing I'd say is bn20's are so slow printing it will be dry by the time it's finished printing!
