Printer Plotter Vinyl Catcher Material?

Anyone know what material the vinyl catchers are made of?

It looks like the catcher on my FC9000 is just cotton. It's nothing special.

All the ones I have seen/used have a slicker surface to it that allows the material to slide easier on them. Anyone else have any experience with this?

I have an older GCC plotter and it looks like some type of synthetic canvas material with a slick surface.

I would like for our plotter, we have a fabric catcher and many times it will cause the longer runs of vinyl to catch and buckle.

Both (Roland and Summa) of ours seems to be fabric. The Roland is more like Rayon (perhaps that shiny/slick your looking for). the Summa basket, is more cotton, closer to a thin denim.
