Printhead manifold screw

I had the carriage cover off of the vp300 today when I noticed the printhead manifold screw for the black head is backed off all the way. The rest of the heads are all tightened, so I figure someone screwed up...but I just want to be sure it isnt supposed to be like that for whatever weird reason.

Ive been having issues with deflections on this head and no amount of cleaning/soaks helped. Im wondering whether this contributed to it.

It shouldn't affect your head being able to line up with the capping station. The screw only adjusts the head slightly and not enough for it to be off enough to cause deflection. It could be time for a new head. How old is it?
