Printing issues...

Howdy folks,
I am having a wierd issue with my SP300V running Versaworks (and Flexi 8) I have an image with clip art of green money in it -- it began printing and no green -- it printed brown.
I then tried a series of colored green boxes as a test print to check it out. They printed brown. Heres the wierd part, I thought a cart was out and Cyan was the culpert (last one not changed lol) I swapped to a new cart and all was well, then it started again. I swapped back to the older cartridge in which the tab was not out saying empty. It printed fine for a few days. Now it did it again lastnight to me on a different file. This time I just pulled out each cart and reinserted(twice each), sent the file again and now the green prints. There is no overspray or issues when it prints correctly, reads crops fine and cuts fine.

thanks for any insight, I am missing something.

Did I not include something to get even possible causes? Printing all day yesterday and it didnt mess up at all --- just wierd

How does the nozzle test looks like when the printer prints brown?

I havent checked it when its stuck printing brown. It appears normal now, but does, then goes wacky :0) Reseat carts and it comes back. Normal check reveals 2 little spots missing on Mag and Cyan.

I would look at the dampers, clogging waste lines, possible cross contamination, switching print heads..

what ink are you running?

I have yet to swap out the wipers, cap tops and general maintenance, its just now 1 year I have owned it. Only OEM inks -- afraid not to :0)
