Printing on Oracal 751?

Just wondering if anyone here has tried printing on Oracal 751, namely the metallics, with Eco-Solvent inks?
I do a lot of printing on the 651 but need a silver metallic to print on. I want to keep this job as a single layer if possible.

Try it. I don't see why it wouldn't work.

yeah the only thing is QC isn't as tight on cut vinyl, so maybe wipe it as it feeds through

We print on silver a good bit. Print is fine, but contour cutting is another story.

+1 on wiping it down BEFORE you print. I've used quite a bit of gold and silver and it prints OK as long as you understand the limitations. Typically, I'm just doing things in dark colors like black outlines, etc. and then contour cutting instead of using 2-layers of vinyl and registering it all.

We print on 751 and 951 silver all the time with no problems. You may have a problem with your cutter reading the marks to align the print for cutting. I usually put white vinyl right up to the mark on all sides so the silver doesn't mess up the reading.
