Printing on Solgold with XC-540

Wondering how to do solid printing on Solgold material with the Roland XC-540 with Flexi software. Seems everything I see printed on this material is translucent except for black print. Looking to buy this system and 90% of work is done with goldleaf and it cant all be a translucent print. Can someone please resolve this? Your help is greatly appreciated!

Unfortunately all Roland inks are translucent in nature. This is how certain colors are achieved by printing one over another. Black is not translucent because it is usually made up of all the colors making it more opaque. You may want to print on Sign Gold with a Gerber Edge. An Edge will give you the option of translucent or opaque printing depending on the foils you use.
