I've printed on the white version of that stuff with no problems on our S80600. Same heat settings as regular vinyl. It does seem like it takes a bit longer to completely gas out and dry than standard vinyl, so I wouldn't let printed faces touch for a while (IE don't fold it over on itself).

Had a problem with our cling sticking to my VG2 540 side media clamps and not letting it advance and causing it to bunch up and accordion behind the media clamps until it head struck...
I technically hadnt cleaned them with alcohol for a while (which might have helped) but it had been fine on other materials...it seemed the tackiness and thickness of the cling material contributed to the stickage...it started to happen another time that I caught before a strike so after that I print it with high head position and no media clamps...I have a sneaking suspicion the design of the VG3 media clamps might not stick as bad but I obv dont fully understand static cling...

i haven't tried on our mimaki yet but we printed on static cling with our roland printers for years. the eco-solvent can be tricky sometimes due to static and or head strikes because the heat causes it to wrinkle. raise the print head and maybe mess around with your heat temp. the best results we have always had when we print on static with our uv printers, no heat , no static...no problem
