printing problem sp 300

My sp-300 is not printing black it comes out brown. but registration marks are black I printing with colorrip 2.2. I reinstalled software and also intalled on a new computer still the same. could It be bad ink or sp-300 going out????? Help Thanks

if the reg marks are a good black, then its the mixture of inks laying down, not the ink itself ... are you using a rich black in your design? mine is 30/30/30/100 (C/M/Y/K)

yes I also used cmyk rgb and spot colors still the same

What do you get when you run the print test?

Try to print 0/0/0/100 - (C/M/Y/K) and are the original cartridge's or you use ink refile?

I print 0-0-0-100 on my sp300v and get perfect black with Sign and Display or Max Impact Ink Profiles (in versaworks).
