Hello look at this. Why this happens its like it fails to print well on some parts, creates weird colors please help. Its a dx5 single head

Print head lose
Media roller slipping
Or print head Rip been used for over 20 years

Maybe your printer was rebelling at the artwork.

This is probably ink cluttering due to media not able to hold that amount of ink, high speed printing or platen temp too low.

I was going to say, looks a little like oversaturation of ink. Hard to tell from just a photo. Try printing other images with lower ink coverage. Try different substrates. See if you can isolate the issue at all.

is your printhead firing ok on a test print are all the colors there and what type of machine is this

Try to reduce speed and increase the heat settings.
