Printing sharp text - OCE Arizona 350 GT

I have a client who is looking to print a custom automotive gauge design on Lexan 10mil fim. We are using our OCE Arizona 350 GT. Doing a reverse print on a the film with double pass of Rich black/CMYK which has most of the text/numbers knocked out, followed by a double pass of white. Using 256 ink and I cannot get the text and lines to look sharp. The customer brought in another sample that was printed on a 480 GT and it looks great and very sharp. Anyone have any guidance on customizing a profile to get the black to be sharp so the white ink can show through with fine lines. Fine Art mode is on as well. Appreciate an help on this.

Does the 350GT have High Definition mode?
I can't remember off the top of my head.
It will basically double the resolution, which might help you out.
Just be careful with the lamp settings as the head moves at half speed, so you should drop the lamps by 1-2 settings.

High Definition mode is available since Arizona 360, so on your 350 you may not be able to get similar quality of details. Try to print in Fine Art unidirectionally, that may improve text and lines, but in 480 printheads are slightly different (in fact in 350 you have two printheads per channel, in 480 you'll find four similar printheads per channel), so that may be the critical requirement for the small details.
