Printing Silver Metal II On Clear Question!!!

I have an Edge 2 and i am printing Football Helmet Decals and they want Silver Metal. When printing on clear should I lay a base down or double print the Silver Metal II?

It should be a "solid" color, so you should be fine, but it wouldn't hurt to put a base color down first.
