printing something extra after the print

is there any way to put a banner back into the versacam vp 540 and print something like a coma or a fada over a letter? how can it be lined up if i have'nt used crop marks?

Don't even try doing it. Yes if you do everything perfect it could work. But don't even attempt it. If you forgot something, just reprint it.

It's better to have two hands than one glove.
Just print the addition as a rectangle sufficient to contain whatever you're adding and apply it as a patch with banner tape. From more than a couple of feet it will be undetectable.

This is the sovereign remedy for typos and copy changes on banners.

I'm with Flame, just re-print. If you go that route you might as well experiment and try printing on the already printed banner, you're not going to be out anything and who knows...you might just get lucky!
