Printing to edge Versacamm SP-300V

I have been running these Versacamm printers for 8 years, on my 3rd one right now, and was always told to leave an 1/8" white border around all graphics when cutting. I understand it is for adhesion of the glue because it saturates the vinyl. I had tried cutting inside my print and it seems to curl up when dry. Can anyone tell me what the secret to printing edge to edge is on these printers? I am looking at purchasing a SP-540i for larger production but would like to figure this out. I use Orajet media switching between 3651 and 3165RA.

Any help would be appreciated.

I have used Oracal 3165 with no problems with edge curl with no border.
You can always print, let cure, and then cut out.

yeah, just make sure you let it dry at least 24hrs and you should be fine. we don't have any problems as long as its dried correctly.
