Printing to Optic Clear Film not sitting flat on printer platen

Hi All.
Have been trying to get optic clear print film to sit flat but keep getting ripples in the film in between pinch rollers. this shows up in the print.
Does anyone have any ideas on how to stop this?

Did you try turning your heat down?

we are using a Mutoh UV printer roll to roll

I'm not familiar with that printer but normally you'd either turn the heat down and/or turn up the vacuum.
