printing w/ one head

I have a damper out (I think) and need to get my printer going. I had to do this once before but can't remember how to force it to only print one side. It is in the menu somewhere but I'm drawing a blank. I have a call into my rep but thought I may as well try here too.

All printing with the Mutoh VJ 1204 is with one head...that's all it has.

The head is 8 channel,
4 colors so each color has two channels A and B

Printing with only the A side or B side channel is obviously half speed, but is useful for special applications like one dead channel or a clogged damper
