Problem connecting my Designjet 5000

Hello,

My computer is not finding my Designjet 5000 printer. I've tried connecting it trough a network and direct to the computer and it still does not see it.

The printer displays shows that the cards is install correctly. I have a Jetdirect 610N card.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Have you set the printer's IP address so it's on the same network as your computer?

Thanks Bly, that was the problem. For some reason when I plugged it back in it went back to its old IP Address.

Goes to show you the simplest solution is often the right one.
