problem with font preview on Flexi 6.5

I have Flexi Sign Pro 6.5 and moved it from old computer with Win 2000 to newer computer with XP Pro. I can no longer pre-view fonts while designing signs, (have to actually change the font to see what it looks like) and am looking for a fix, or suggestion as to which version of Flexi I can upgrade to at the lowest cost to cure this problem. (In case it matters -- I do not print at my shop (only cut vinyl) but I do handle some larger files that I send out for printing.)

Push the alt key, select your text like usual, then press the alt key
