Problem with RJ6000 "INK CHANGE" error

I just got this used and I can't get past this error message. It boots up fine and then this message comes up and you cannot get any further. I have tried everything I know to try. Is there a way to reset this? Also how do you update the firmware. It says in the service manual you need a Flash memory card to put in this huge slot on the back what kind of card is it?

If you just got it and they washed the heads (a good thing) before they sold it you would need to do an ink fill. When you do this make sure the ink cartridges have about the same amount in each. Do so by gently shaking them. Keep us posted.

Access Diagnostics mode
(Hold down Cleaning, Menu & Shift ) while powering ON.

and under DiagAdjustments
find HEAD RANK,
ENTER through all the selections until it goes to FILL START.
