Problems with double side printing

Has any one had this problem and what do you think caused it?
We were printing 2 sided on a UV flatbed printer on 14oz smooth banner and noticed that the outline of the image one side is visible on the other.

We used 2 rolls of media and not all prints were affected, but the prints that were affected the outline appeared in the same area.

Defective media?
Did not wait long enough before printing secound side on some prints?
Ink issue?

The rolls we used had been partially used on a different job with no problems.

Any feedback would be appreciated.

Like Mach said, if its a reversed embossed image, it is the material warping from the areas of heavy ink coverage. Typically, this will be rich blacks malforming the vinyl. You can try to limit your rich black in some way and see if it is better.

also if it is black coverage check to see if the lights are set too hot.

Sorry it is on both sides depending on coverage, and not only in blacks anything that is a strong color. Example heavy Red text or heavy black text.
