Production/Task Manager. How to keep track work order and status.

I looking for a simple, yet effective way for a small group to keep track of jobs/work order. I'm looking for a web based type solution for 2 salesman and a couple of designers/production to keep track of jobs and their current status. Instead of tracking emails and timely excel list that constantly upgrading job status. What kinda solution options are out there.....and of course needs to be reasonably priced. Any thought?
