Pros and cons

some things are better than others... for some things...

...other things might be better for other things..

...we don't have half a clue about any context that the pros & cons would be applicable to in your case

Ok

Like printing what kind of things would this printer not be good for? Vehicle wraps? That would be one concern I guess, will plan on doing outdoor signage along with wraps.

Buy something else. Not knocking the DC5, but it is not the right tool for the job. Many moons ago we had a SignArt thermal printer. We used it to produce various size full color decals, labels etc... No wraps, no 4x8's etc... IMO thermal printers should be used to do things you can't do with other printers. Like printing metallic foils on clear or black.

You have to match the technology to the intended output. You'd be better served with a wide format printer. Roland, Mimaki, HP Latex are all good.
