Need Help Pub table graphic laquer

I'm branding some pub tables for a local bar/grill and planning to do pretty standard print vinyl with laminate. I'm thinking restaurant traffic is going to beat up that laminate pretty quick and thinking a laquer over it all is best. Does anyone have any suggestions or experience? Is this crazy idea? Laquer & laminate compatibility issues? I know a test is always best; just seeing what those smarter than me have to say...

Skip the laminate part. The lacquer clearcoat will suffice for that, besides, you'd only be adding more height to cover with the clear. You'll need maybe 10 or 15 coats of clear for vinyl only, but it is the way to go..... especially in a bar atmosphere.

Why not just pour clear epoxy over the top let it cure and be done.

Big easy is correct lacquer will not hold up to alcohol but a two part epoxy or 100% acylic two part will just level the table and pour pre seal with lacquer first

what is all this "lacquer" talk, are yall back in the 80s! If you are going to do it right 2 part epoxy clear. If the prints are temp just a matte laminate no epoxy....IF you are going to epoxy over prints do not laminate
