Pulling my hair out

I have a client that is seeking to print and cover her large windows on her Bar with a Mardi Gras/Bourbon Street theme. Of course she sends me some "ideas" she found on the internet. Once I show her that the resolution of her pics is way to small, she and I look for some pics on the main stock photography websites. She can't find any she likes. She now thinks she wants it to be more of a painting type look, and not a photo. Anybody here have any recommendations for a good source of illustrations/painting type file sources. I have exhausted all the mainstream sites (dreamstime, istock, shuttestock, etc.).

Who was it that painted that back alley or something like that to look like an old time scene from the 50's? They did it all in digital, then painted it, and they both looked amazing. I'd check w/ them...if anyone here knows who I'm talking about. I just can't remember who it was that did that project.

You are now talking about custom art. Hire an illustrator if you can't do it yourself. Be prepared to pay.

That was Joe Diaz who did the wall mural in question.
