Putting window graphics on top of tint film?

I have client want to put window covering on top of existing tinted film. Is it OK to put vinyl with permanent adhesive on it?
Also, any suggestion on material for window? I am looking for some matt film or vinyl that has clear adhesive so some light through it. I thought I could use translucent material, but I need someting little bit more opaque so it is visible when backside is darker than front side.

Whatever you stick on the window film is going to stay there. Don't ever plan on removing it without wrecking the film underneath.

And if it does come off, depending on the quality of the film, be prepared to have a ghost image where the vinyl was.

Don't you apply tint to the INSIDE? Apply perf or translucent frontside, tint backside...
Apparently not getting your intent.
