pvc post sleeve/ color change

Has anyone painted the 4x4 vinyl post sleeves with good results? What type of prep and paint did you use? We need to do some in black. I thought about wrapping it in some black control tac, but would rather paint it

I imagine if you painted it with krylon fusion it would hold. That is built for plastics.

If you'd want to go with latex, I'd suggest adhesive primer from Sherwin williams before the paint. Wouldn't hurt to scuff it up with some 220 first too.

We do it all the time with the fusion and we love it, yellow, black, red.

You could try postcoats.com for color changing them. Not sure if they will fit over a sleeved post or if it only works on the raw posts.

Light coat of Fusion as a primer. Top coat with any enamel you want to use.

Personally, I think your wrapping them with black vinyl is your safest and fastest method so far.
