Q100 Load Media!

On my Q100.. every once in a while the vinyl will buckle off of the roll if i am not paying close attention and whenever it raises off the rear sensor it stops cuting immediately and has an error message "LOAD MEDIA!". I usually have to start all over when this happens.. I havent came across a way to continue cutting.

Is there any option to just resume cutting where it stopped without starting all over? I am about out of this color vinyl.

Black vinyl or electrical tape over the rear sensor maybe? Any ill effects of doing that? I roll cut 100% of the time, never sheets.
