Quarkxpress file

I have quarkxpress on my old imac and can't find the installation disk for my to put it on my mac pro. Could I get help from some one to convert my quark file to Indesign?

Your gonna need to collect for output in order for someone to do that, otherwise you lose the fonts images and whatever else has been placed/imported...

I belive the version on my imac is 5

Don't have InDesign here at work, but I thought InDesign had a Quark Importer... although it may have been Quark that had a Pagemaker importer...

Opening quark files in indesign

Save the quark file down to version 4, then you can drag the quark 4 file onto the indesign icon and it will open in indesign.

You will loose any layers though as they weren't supported in quark 4.

Not sure about the quark importer but I will try to save a version 4 on my imac.
