Question about Light box signs - Sourcing, site surveys etc

Hello everybody. I have a customer looking to get a light box installed.

I only have experience with replacing the lexan faces, but never with installing the box itself.

Im thinking- Order box wholesale, outsource the install to another company and make the face myself. I have an electrician who's willing to connect and service the sign. What do you guys think?

Also, the installer would be doing the site survey for the install but I'm just curious how you guys typically do a site survey in preparation for this job. I hope I'm not asking any ridiculous questions, I'd like to learn more and expand my business without making a bad decision. Thanks guys.

Quote it. Usually if you're subbing out that much to a local client, someone else will do it for a better price. Don't forget to add for permits.

Also check the code and make sure the cabinet size is compliant.

We buy the cabinet from local sign maker. Make the prints ourselves and sub out the install. However we are the end client of the cab. and we change out the ads.
