Question on an SP-300

I have a Roland SP-300 and I use Window XP and I was wondering if this printer can also work using IE-7

I am using ColorRip software and over the past six years I have never had any problems using this software but I don't think there are any driver updates for IE-7

The SP-300 has worked so well that I have been reluctant to purchase a newer printer.

Right now I run two computers one with IE-7 for graphics and the other computer running XP is simply for the SP-300

By IE-7 do you mean Windows 7? I have multiple customers running SP-300 printers with every operating system from XP to 10. You will probably just need to make sure you run the software in compatibility mode for windows XP service patch 3 and as the administrator. As long as you do that, you shouldn't run into any issues.

Yes I am running Windows 7 on my mail computer.

I will follow your instructions and run my SP-300 the way you said.

I am hoping it works.

Right now it's a small pain to send my files to my old Windows XP- computer first but it does work that way.
