Question on cutting

When you produce a vector image in Corel and send it to a mimaki printer and plotter how are you putting a cut line around it for the plotter to see?

I have been putting a white contour line around my images which you can see in wireframe but you cannot see in the normal view.

Is there a better way for me to prepare my images for a mimakie printer.

Years ago when I designed in Corel for my Durachrome and cut with our Mimaki, we used Mimaki's program to asign cut lines, I think is called Fineline, not sure. Sorry this doesnt help much.
