is there a default setting for dimension change from S.A.E. to Metric

Never had to use metric but is there a setting in the preferences to temporarily change it ????????

you can do it right in central... just type in the metric unit with the number. is that what you mean?

Right click on the ruler in the workview and a list to choose from will pop up or click the ruler & grid option to set it from there.(7.6 - 8.6)
