(R2000) Scratches on printed boards after sitting on warm warehouse.

Hello all,

We are facing an issue with our R2000 while printing single sided ultra board DP,

When boards are printed we perform a scratch and rub test and ink does not come off, however, when delivered to customer and they sit in a warm Florida warehouse the ink starts to become loose and comes off just by rubbing prints together.

Our overcoat settings are almost maxed and seeing that the prints do not scratch on our tests here at the shop we are at a loss. Has anyone experienced this and would have any recommendations?

Thanks in advance.

I have a R1000.

You shouldn't have overcoat on max. If you do that it blocks the ink underneath from fully curing. I know it sounds weird, but you want to find a nice middle as the over coat really doesn't do anything. If I were you, I would try to increase the heat a little in the curing and reduce the overcoat levels.

Looks like Ultraboard DP doesn't play nice with the R2000. Not sure if we received a bad batch.

Printed same file, same settings as original but on a different brand and worked flawlessly.
