Random Printing on HP 360

[Hexagon Graphics]

I have random printing on hp 360, I was told it was printhead so I replaced all of them and it is still doing this? I am thinking encoder strip or reader but not sure.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!

My first thought was encoder strip. Is it doing the same thing in the same spot on every print?

yeah kinda 2 same areas randomly, I cleaned the encoder strip I may need to clean the encoder reader but it is hard to reach.
Do you have a HP and if you buy parts where do you buy them?

I would run a scan axis check which will show faulty areas in your strip, I think it's in the image quality menu. I get my parts from Grimco.

my bet is its the trailing cable...which is the ink line assy...hp offers 1x service flat rate covers parts and labor for 1500...ink line/trailing cable alone is 1600...

I was told by the place I bought it from it was a carriage PCA replaced that and it still does the same thing that was a waste of $200
this printer is killing me

Maybe you can figure it out yourself. Did you do a scan axis check?
