I think I get on this site more than I get on my own fb page or twitter now since ive started to do signs lol kinda sad really and I cant go anywhere now without looking at a sign or car graphics, ect without thinking how to do that or i can do that hahah. Does anyone else do this? I think I have the sign/graphics syndrome lol hopefully one day I can be like some of you guys on here and make a good living from this, because so far I love it even tho the money is not great yet and I dont have a huge clientel yet, I know it will come one day, hopefully sooner then later. For the most part most ppl have been helpful and there is a few on here that seem to wake up on the wrong side of the bed everyday. but thanks for all yalls help so far, I really do appreciate it

Ya after a few decades of making signs, I still look at all of them. Sitting in a restaurant by the window looking at the lettering and always pointing out to my wife; look they forgot to weed that part or that's not welded or it's crooked,,,,,lol. Can't help it.

Happens all the time. Not with signs mind you, but with embroidery mainly.

It get's really bad when you start seeing other items and you begin to "break those down" into simple shapes.

Whenever the NBC Sports logo comes on the TV screen I holler "My friend Chuck did that script!"

I agree, I also do some engine rebuilding to keep me afloat, Ive been doing that most my life but would rather make all my income from signs ect..and keep engine building to my hobby.

I'm always feeling banners and looking at signs everywhere i go. People probably think i'm weird...Wait don't answer that.

My favorite thing is to point out crappy lettering styles like comic sans or home made signs from places that should have very nice signage. Heck everyone should have nice signage!

Yeah, it's not really a problem until security comes to escort you out because you're taking displays off the wall trying to figure out who made them.

Or you get back from vacation and your wife is looking through all the pictures and wants to know why there are 85 pictures of signs and lettering and the only picture of her was taken while she was coming out of the bathroom.
