Rasterlink 3 & Tiff

Hey Guys

Can anyone help.

Having a problem with one file in Tiff format. Printed other similar Tiff files fine. Just seem to be running into an error on one of them. Its a 1gb file high res image and have to keep it that way.

We have,

Flattened the layers
Made half size
tried PDF conversion

still not opening in the RIP

Opens fine in photoshop
Other large files onpen gine too.

Any guidance appreciated.

Open the file in photoshop and do a save as. At the pop up screen make sure Alpha Channels under "Save Options" is UNCHECKED. Set all the rest of your parameters as needed then save.

I'll be interested in this as well. We're running Rasterlink 3 on our JV33's and I'm so frustrated at times with issues like this and that I don't have the ability to print a file name label and other file info through the RIP like other RIPs.
